Tofield Chapter 11

Wow I can't believe it's almost been two transfers here. We have transfer calls next Monday. It's crazy. Well I guess this will be a shorter email since I didn't email till Wednesday last week, but still a lot went on.

Wednesday
So we got up and emailed. We then helped Chuck out. They were cleaning out one of their friends houses before the new people took possession Friday. So we helped him load stuff into the truck and take it back to his house and put it in their tarp shed. It was a long day. He took us to Timmy's for lunch and then Mary made supper for us as well. We went to bowling and it was fun. They were doing bingo bowling. Whatever a person bowled then you check off the square with the score. It was fun. 8 and 11 are hard to get in 5 pin bowling. Did I mention it is only 5 pin bowling up here, for the most part? After that we stopped by Anthony and talked with him a bit. We used one of the trainings that we learned at zone conference with him and committed him to read 10 minutes a day. It was great He asked "would it be rude to read in the bathroom?" Then we just drove home.

Thursday
Well we didn't have district meeting, but we did have lunch at Kelly's. We met Elder Babb and Elder Jenkins there for exchanges. We went on a three way exchange to get to know the district better. I was with Elder Jenkins in Fort Skat. We had fun. I was able to give Elder Jenkins some cool ways to find people through formers and potentials. Apparently some of the members have friends that they haven't told to the missionaries. It was a pretty fun time.

Friday
Well we exchanged back and then drove home and had lunch. We then planned and tracted. We had supper with Sis Brockhurst, Sis Roughley and the Chutes. It was really great. I think we just tracted the rest of the night.

Saturday
Veg Day. We went and visited Sis Gillespie. She was in the long term care place. It is a really nice place and good for her. It was pretty cool. She said the prayer at the end. We then went and were going to get haircuts from Shirley's mom, but we went and they weren't home. We then went and shopped at Walmart. We came back and Shirley's husband answered and said she didn't feel well. So no haircuts. We grabbed a small sandwich at Subway. We went to see Thompsons' but they weren't home. So we went and visited with Sis Yost. We then went to Roy and Crystal's. It was Roy's birthday on Sunday so they invited us over for his birthday party. It was fun. We got to meet Crystals' family. It was cool. We then had supper at Bates. We had a good time there. We then went out to the Stennes and had a good conversation with one of their friends. He was over to help fix their car and it was really entertaining for us as he was trying really hard not to swear in front of us.

Sunday
Well we had Branch Council and they talked about the Branch mission plan. We then had normal church. I was really able to learn a lot. I wish we could have had some investigators there. We then had a coordination since Sis Pufong was at church this week. We went home and had lunch. We then stopped by potentials and tracted for most of the night. We did stop by Carol's and had a good lesson with her and her family. We did the same thing of introducing the story of the Book of Mormon through the pictures in the front cover. It went really well. We then continued to stop by potentials and tract. We did tract into one guy that doesn't believe in the New Testament or the Book of Mormon. He is a mason. We are going back with Bro McDaniel later today. That will be fun.

Monday
P-day was fun. We got up and went to Elk Island National Park. We didn't actually go to the park, but to the free side on the other side of the Highway. That side just has a hike around one of the lakes. It is 16 Km long. We went probably 5 in total 2.5 out 2.5 back. It was more like a photography trip for me. I took a lot of cool pictures. There was a lot of green though. It reminded me of the Ellis' bird farm. We then came back grabbed lunch and went to play basketball. It was pretty fun. We then came back and I took like a 30 min nap then took a shower. We then met Heidi, the lady that we do service for, at Tilley's. She was taking us out for supper to repay us. Elder Garver and I got a large pizza, half donair, half perogie. It was soooo good. We had a really good talk with her and we were able to answer a lot of her questions about the church. We then went and helped Sis Beck move some plants, then talked with her for a while. We then tried by some people and tracted. We did stop by one house. We are pretty sure they thought we were JW, but were pretty adamant that we never go back ever never. It was one of those, Wow calm down we understand bye moments.

Well that was my week. As exciting as it can get.
Love you,
Elder O'Neill

Tofield Chapter 10

WOW this week was crazy. We didn't get to email until Wednesday since we had zone conference yesterday and the library is closed on Monday. Wednesday is a long time to wait to email everyone. I don't like it. Well other than that everything else is good.

Tuesday
Well we emailed and then had lunch. We spent the whole day trying potentials and tracting. We had supper at Sis Roughley's with the older Fisher's and her friend Della. It was really cool. We had a lesson on the BOM, but as it went on Della had questions about the POS so we talked a little bit about it then and gave her a POS pamphlet. It was a really cool lesson. We then stopped by the Princes and then went and met with Galongo's. It was pretty relaxing to finally sit down and talk.

Wednesday
Veg day. We had a lot that went on. We were going to meet with Anthony with Bro Bates but that didn't happen. We had to fill in some time before our lesson with Meggie and Sis Fisher. It was pretty funny. I don't remember what we were teaching, but we wanted Sis Fisher to invite her to church. We didn't really know how to give Sis Fisher the clue so Elder Garver showed her the page in the back of the pamphlet about Come Worship with Us. She didn't know if he wanted her to read the page or what. He finally pointed to the Come Worship with Us and she turns to Meggie, "Well now I going to invite you to church." It was pretty funny. We need members at lessons but we don't always know how to make everything go. We had lunch out at the Bates, elk hamburger stew. We met with Sis Gillespie. She is back in the hospital. We then went to Soren and Lynda's. Well we finally got our pics taken. It was pretty fun. I was much more comfortable posing for them then Elder Garver. We met with Sis Yost. Chuck and Mary took us to Vito's for supper. After we ran to bowling. It was fun since it was funky bowling. They had to do different things each round. I don't remember it perfectly but it was something like normal, right hand, left hand, both hands, backwards, one foot, sitting down, holding a team mates hand, between the teams legs, then however. It was pretty fun to watch them. They were having a great time too. We then went out to Stennes' and helped them move some washers around to get fixed or taken away.

Thursday
Well we had district meeting and lunch at Kelly's. We came back and helped out at Busy B. We then drove to Ryley. We stopped by the McCauley's. Sis McCauley had their baby and he was doing well. We then tracted in Ryley for a while. We had supper with Bro Fisher again, then we tracted some more.

Friday
We did a little bit of planning then went to the Food Bank. We actually helped out that time. We then finished planning and had lunch. We did Mormon.org time and then tried Potentials and tracted. We helped take down the Farmer's market again. We didn't have to take down the tables this time which was nice. We then had supper at Cahoon's. The Older Cahoons just came back from their mission in Burundi Africa. So we got to meet Sis Cahoon. It was fun. They also have one of those back stretching things that lets you hang upside down and we tried it out. It was really fun. Just hanging by your feet was cool. We then went and met with Carol again. She is super nice. We cut it short, because we were going to help Sis Roughley move some dirt, but when we got there she changed her mind for that night. It was alright.

Saturday
Veg Day. We went out first thing to the Stennes and helped them out. I guess a lot has been going on and our visit was a really good thing. We then had lunch. We went and visited with Sis Skeem. We then went and met with Shirley. We showed her about Mormon messages. Before we could watch one we found one for Father's day and she shared it on her husbands Facebook page for everyone to see. It was pretty awesome. We then went to try potentials and stopped by Dianne. We had called her many times before but we couldn't ever make things work out. We just stopped by and she let us in. We walked in and there were scriptures and pictures of Christ all over the walls. On the table she had three different bibles open. It was crazy. We were a little worried about what we were getting into, but she is just confused. She had been bouncing between about 4 different churches and is just confused. We started by talking about the Book of Mormon and how it really does give us more than the bible does. She already had three of those from different missionaries before. We then had supper and tried to take a small nap. We had a lesson with Roy and Crystal, which went pretty well. On the way out of town we stopped and got shakes at DQ. I miss going and getting shakes every so often.

Sunday
Well it was church. The senior Cahoons spoke and it was really cool. They had quite a time in Africa. After church they had a lunch since a lot of their family was there and they live a decent ways from the church. They invited anyone to come. There was plenty of food and it was good. We spent most of the night tracting. We did stop by the Comeniuks and had a good visit with them. Their RM daughter told us to go stop by her friend. After that we tracted that street. It is right by our apartment. She was nice but busy and told us to come back another time. We at some point took a supper break. We then kept trying potentials and tracting. We ended the night at Murray's. It was weird that time.

Monday
Well it was pday, but didn't really start off like a pday. Heidi that I met at Busy B needed our help that morning. She had found someone to put a window in her shed and he needed help. I didn't mind going out to help. We put the window in and did some other things that were some heavy lifting. We then came back and changed to go play basketball with The Kastendieck's and their friends. There were a lot of people there this time. It was fun. We had 4 on 4 games. It was a long time though. We were there for like 4 hours playing basketball. We then came back and showered and took a nap. We got ready and had supper with Bro Tiedemann. It was nice. We then tried by some potentials.

Tuesday
Well we had zone conference. It was supposed to be from 8:30-4:00, but what ever starts on time. It was more like 9:00 to 4:30. It was really good though. It was fun too. I got to see Elder Coomer and Sis McEwen again. I got to hear about what's been going on. Apparently since I left Elder Hentunen and his comp started to focus on teaching Annette's daughter Kennedy more and she is getting baptized this Saturday. That was really cool to hear. You never know what you might start in one area and have to leave behind for someone else. It was truly amazing news. Well after Zone Conference we headed to Veg. It was cool driving through Edmonton, because the road that leads to Veg went through Londonderry and we drove through a little bit of it. We had supper with Shaw's. We then tracted for a bit. Then we went to Chuck's.

Well it was a crazy week. A lot happened. A lot always happens. One week can hold so many fun and exciting things if you are looking for them. :)

Love you all,
Elder Colin O'Neill

Tofield Chapter 9

WOW WOW WOW. This week was CRAZY busy. So many awesome things happened that I don't know if I'll be able to write about all of them. I'll do my best.

Tues
Well we tried to help out at the Food Bank, but they didn't have much for us to do, so we went and emailed. We went back and had lunch. We started tracting for a little bit, before we help Pres Hillyer take chairs off of the stage at the Hall. We then tracted for a lot more. We had supper at the Gillis' really quickly before we ran to the Pillings to teach the final things we needed to before the baptism on Saturday.

Wednesday
Veg day. We met Sis Hillyer at Shirley's, but she wasn't home, so we went to Meggie's. We had a really good lesson with her. She is looking for a new church and we are just trying to get her to church. We stopped by Shirley again before Sis Hillyer left and got in to talk for a few minutes. Not long, but worth it to introduce a member. We then went and talked with Soren and Lynda. We went to Anthony and talked about some things we would teach about. They are really interested in learning more and they want to know the deep stuff. We then had Lunch and shopped at Walmart. We met with the town service coordinator. She texted us since there is a lot going on this summer and gave us some things to Volunteer at. We had supper and then went bowling. We still had a little bit of time so we went to the Thompson's like we used to. We had a decent lesson with them.

Thursday
ONE YEAR!! I couldn't believe it. We had district meeting. Fort Skat brought my package and we opened it up. I gave everyone some of the cookies and we played with the slinky. Then we had lunch at Kelly's. We all then went out to the Pillings so Elder Mugerian could interview for the baptism. Meanwhile the rest of us were playing with the goats and chickens. Not long before we got there one of the mama goats had triplets. One of them died soon after though. I got to touch a newly born baby goat. After the fun we went back to Tofield. We did Mormon.org time and then tracted. We were going to have supper at Fisher, but it wasn't going to be ready for a little while, so we went to talk with Daniel in the meantime. It was an interesting lesson. We don't really agree on too much. We then went back to Fishers and ate with Bro Fisher while the rest were at soccer. They are very fun.

Friday
Veg Day. We made Friday a veg day, because of the baptism on Saturday. We went first thing and met with Anthony. It was a really good lesson. We were teaching him the Plan of Salvation using a bunch of bible scriptures for support. It was fun and exciting. We shared one scripture and he pulled the scriptures out of Elder Garver's hands to read it again. Later we shared another scripture and he went in to get his own bible. It was a great lesson. We then went to help out at the Food bank, but there wasn't anything to do. We went and met with Paulette and Thomas, (potentials). They were pretty good. It didn't really get anywhere. We then had lunch. We really only took 30 minutes to eat. We stopped by Sis Gillespie, but she was in Edmonton. We went to visit Sis Yost and decided to use the other 30 minutes as a nap. So we fell asleep in the car in the parking lot of Sis Yost's retirement home. We don't know if anyone saw us or not. We had a good visit with Sis Yost. We tried by some po's then stopped by Shirley to see if she was still coming to the baptism. We ended up teaching her about baptism and the priesthood. We then ran to Chuck's since we were late for supper. We got there and he was still on a call. When he got there they took us to the Bruce Hotel for steak dinner again. It was soo good, but I think I was over ate. We went back and shared a message.

Saturday
We had an interesting day overall. In the morning we had a Weekly Planning, Lunch, and watching the font fill up all kind of in one. That afternoon we had the baptism and it went well. A lot of the Pilling's family was coming out so they didn't want them to have to come out two days in a row so they also had their baby's blessing there as well. It was really cool. After we ran to the Gillis' really quick since they invited us over afterwards. We then quickly drove to the Pilling's as well. We were there for a bit then came back. We met with Eileen, then we went and met with Carol. They are both iffy on everything. They are willing to have us over, but don't know if it is going to go anywhere.

Sunday
We had branch council then church. After church we had a coordination then went to Lu's. We were there for lunch and supper. We then stopped by Otto. He is weird to talk to. We think he is pretty hard of hearing, so we don't really get to talk much. Since he just goes on.

Monday
Well it was long tiring day. We got up in the morning and played basketball. We then came home got ready and then went to the Ukrainian Historic Cultural Village. It was really cool. They act like the Ukrainian that came over to Canada. Most of them have a part and won't break character. They are really good. It was way fun. We were there for 4 1/2 hours walking around the whole time. We drove back and went shopping. We then went and played more basketball. We had supper at Hillyers and then tried Po's the rest of the night. It was a long fun day.

Well that was my week. Very eventful. I love it out here more and more each and everyday. I am able to see the gospel in action within my own life and the lives of those we meet with.

Love ya,
Elder Colin James O'Neill

Tofield Chapter 8

WOW this week was sure crazy. Well I can tell you that it is officially summer up here. The mosquitoes and allergies are in full attack. It's been a week.

Tuesday
Well it wasn't that exciting. We met with Daniel and had a really good conversation with him. I don't know if it is going to get anywhere soon with him, but he is definitely missionary minded, just not our church. We then had supper at Hoag's. They are a great family. They are very health conscious. They don't eat any wheat. It's pretty impressive. We then tried some potentials.

Wednesday
Veg day. We went and met with Meggie and had a decent lesson with her. Things are looking up. We then went and visited with Soren. I might have already mentioned this but they run a sign shop and they also do photography. Apparently the next time we go over they are going to take some picture of/for us. We then went and helped Chuck plant some trees. Well kind of. He tilled up some of the land along the river and was planting some cut off shoots. Hopefully they will grow. He took us out for lunch as well. We then went and visited Sis Yost and Sis Olsen. We had bowling then went to see Stennes'. We haven't been able to visit very often since we live in Tofield and yet again they weren't home. :P

Thursday
We had district meeting and went to Kelly's. Well that was the second week in a row that our meal was paid for. We decided to leave a big tip. We made a elephant out of coins. After that we went on exchanges. I was in Fort Skat this time. We went and played games at the church with the seniors. We then went back dropped off my stuff and went and tried formers for a little bit. We had supper at the Reed's, which was pretty fun. Sister Reed knows a lot of the same people that I do from my mission. Her Uncles are the Stonehocker's in Innisfail and then she grew up in Londonderry. It was weird. The stake up here is doing trek and she is in charge and was needing some advice. I tried to tell them about the treks I was on. After that we tried some LA's and tracted a bit, then more formers.

Friday
Well we had our interview and then had lunch. Things took longer so we had to rush to exchange back. We drove back to Tofield and did some Weekly Planning. After that we tried by some Po's. We had supper at the Chutes and then went to the Promenade to help out. We were volunteered to help out. It was like the carnival during Steel day's (I don't know why I'm comparing it to that since we never went, but whatever). Bro Tiedemann owns a bunch on inflatables that were set up. We were in charge of the bungie run. It was a ton of fun. We were able to talk to a lot of people. It was pretty fun. Elder Garver beat Murray in a race. That was the night.

Saturday
Veg day. We went and helped Chuck plant some more trees. These were actual trees we were planting this time. We had to dig some holes and take them out of the buckets. It was a lot of work. We then helped Mary plant some flowers. We went to Albert's for lunch. After that we tried by some potentials. We stopped by to drop off a movie to Roy and Crystal. We stopped in at Katelyn's and then drove back to Tofield for the night session of Stake Conference. It was pretty cool because it was for everyone 12 and up. It was really good.

Sunday
Well we had Stake/ Canada conference. It started as a stake conference and then we sung some hymns until the Canada wide broadcast came on. We had a broadcast of one of the seventies and General Relief Society President then Elder Holland and President Eyring. It was a pretty cool thing. After we went to the Fishers. They had the Gillis' over as well. We were there for a while. We tried by some potentials and then went to Murray's. That was interesting. They have a vent over this hole that just goes straight down into their basement. They have climbed through it a few times. Murray went up through and so did their son. Elder Garver tried to go up through. He had some difficulty, but made it. After some "encouragement" I tried to go. I made it. It wasn't easy at all. It took some work. I now know that if I got stuck in 8x14 hole I could maybe get out.

Monday
Well it was Pday. We played basketball then went to Kastendiecks acrage. We helped clean out the beaver dams and some other things. We weren't out there for very long yesterday. We just hung around the apartment. Supper cancelled, so we went to Ryley. We met with the McCauley's and then tried po's.

Well that was my week.
Love you all,
 Elder Colin O'Neill

Tofield Chapter 7

Well this week was a lot of fun, as usual. Did a lot, but a lot fell through.

Tuesday
Well after we emailed we had lunch and then travelled to V to do some things there. We had tried by a lady that Mary had told us about that was a member. We start talking to her and we introduce ourselves and she introduces herself as Sister Klein. Confirmed. She's a member. We talked with her for a little bit. We had tried by some other people and then Katelyn asked if we could come help paint. Luckily we keep clothes in the car. We went over and helped paint her bedroom. It was blue green and orange stripes. We just went over to help prime the walls for a new color. We helped for a long time. They ordered pizza. We then went to Chuck's.

Wednesday
We helped out at the Library and then stopped by some potentials. We got lunch at this café and then went to Walmart to shop. We went and visited with Sis Gillespie, then went to see Sis Yost. We tried by some people and then ended up tracting. We found this really cool guy. We taught him the first lesson at his doorstep. We gave him a BOM and are going to stop by this week hopefully. We then went to Sis Skeem for supper. We usually pick up supper from her, but Bro Fisher had mentioned finding a way to eat supper there. We called her and asked her to invite a friend over. She was trying to get a hold of a LA lady a few streets over, but she wasn't answering, so she went down the hall and invited her friend over. It was really cool. After that we went bowling. We were a little late, but They still love our help. After bowling we drove out to Stennes and they weren't home. Apparently Sis Stennes was in the hospital for something. We drove out to Mundare to stop by some people since we are never in Mundare.

Thursday
We had District Meeting. That was fun. We couldn't meet at the members in Lamont so we had district meeting on the bleachers of the rodeo grounds. We then had lunch at Kelly's like usual. I felt pretty bad. It was a new cook and the new waitress running the show. Everything was slower than usual and crazy. Toward the end, Kelly finally came and helped finish everything. She also wrote off our bill. They are super great. It was a rough day for them. After lunch we drove to Tofield and helped out at Busy Bee. We tried some people and then ended up tracting. We couldn't ever get a hold of Galongo's so we had supper and then were going to drive out there afterwards anyways. Well we got there and they were expecting us. We sat their with Sis Galongo and Sis Tollstrup until Trent got home. He came home, we shared a quick message so we could leave and get home on time. We saw him for about 10 minutes. Crazy.

Friday
We had Weekly Planning then we had lunch. We just tracted all day. It wasn't too bad since the sun was out. got a little bit of a tan. We were asked to help out at the Community hall every 2nd and 4th Friday. Well that is when they have the farmer's market. Well Yvonne is the one in charge and often is the only one there to clean everything up, She isn't young either. Pres Hillyer told us to go help. It was great to be that much help. We also met a member in one of the Sherwood Park wards. She sells pampered chef and gave us some banana bread. :) We had supper with Sister Roughley and the Chutes (that sounds like a band name to me). We then tried by some people. I wasn't feeling too great so we went in a little early. Stomach problems.

Saturday
We went out to V. Some where along the way Elder Garver decided we should borrow Chuck's bikes for the day. We drove to Chuck's, parked the car and grabbed the bikes. We had to fill up the tires, but we were on bikes all day. It was only for a day. not a whole month in the fall. :P. Good ole' Londonderry. We rode around all day and no one was really home. We tracted a little bit. We stopped by Shirley and they were getting ready to go to church. We asked for a glass of water and they gave us a bottle of water since we were on bikes. The only problem was that the bottles were 1.5 L. They were huge. Elder Garver doesn't have a big bag at all so they went in my bag. :( That was toward the end of the day so it wasn't too big of a deal. We were going to have supper at Chuck and Mary's, but it wasn't quite ready so we stopped in to see Sis Gillespie again. We had supper and then drove, yes drove no more bikes, to Stennes. I loved it. We got there and they were making supper. It was kinda late, but whatever. They were having a little appetizer you could say of one of my favorite things ever. Crab! Yep break it, crack it, dip it in butter crab legs. They were pretty much done, but gave us, mostly me, some of it. I miss crab.

Sunday
We had branch council. It's so hard to work with the members sometimes. They try to be involved in missionary work, but don't do much. We ended up talking about 1 of our investigators who is in a part member family. They already know some members. It's frustrating. We had to teach Elder's Quorum. It went pretty well with the 5 people that we taught. After we went and quickly changed then went to Kastendieck's for lunch. Had a fun time there and then went to Woodruff's for supper. There was a little time in between, but still very full. We then tried by some people, but they weren't home. We ended the night talking with Murray.

Monday
Well we had p-day. We did pretty much nothing. We woke up early to play basketball with the Kastendieck's. We then laid around the apartment for most of the day. We went to the church to play ping pong for a little bit. We went to the Roncin's for supper. We then stopped by some people in Holden since we aren't out there very often.

That was my week. It's still going well here in Tofield. :)

Love from,
Elder O'Neill

Tofield Chapter 5

Well this week was a lot of fun. I really did enjoy talking to the Fam on Sunday. It was a fun conversation, so I wasn't homesick at all. It was great. The kids have definitely grown a lot!
Well I'll tell you about up here in Tofield.

Tuesday
Well after emailing we went and had Lunch. We tried stopping by a few people, but they weren't home. So we didn't have anything to do while in Tofield so we went to Veg to give us an extra day up there for the week. We went up there and helped reshelve books at the Library. We then went and were able to meet with Eric. They had met with him before, but never really taught anything yet. We went over and did the same. We started to try and teach him, but it wasn't going super well so we just got to know him better. We went and visited with Sis Yost for a bit. She is back home and doing well. We then went out to see the Stennes'. We haven't been out there for a while. It was a good visit. We were able to have a really good talk with their friend Tammy. We are going to bring her a quit smoking program, if we can find one. I was also able to help Sis Stennes with her computer. I helped her move her pics from her hard drive to the computer and fix some settings. I loved being able to work on a computer again.

Wednesday
We were in Veg again. We were going to meet with Dianne but she was busy. We went and talked with Bill for a little bit. Then went and had a lesson with Meggie. It went really well. We were finally able to finish teaching her L1. After Lunch, we were going to go out and help Stennes, but when we got there they weren't home. Oh well. We drove back to Veg and met with Sis Gillispie. She had fallen and her left side of her face was all bruised. She didn't look too well, but is doing fine now. We visited with her for a bit and then went and visited with Soren. We then went and had a lesson with Shirley. It went great. We taught her L2 and had a really good lesson. We invited her to come to church, but she needs to check with the rest of the Fam before. We went and had supper at the Shaw's and then went to bowling. We had to leave early to go to Thompson's who weren't home. Lame. Well we tried some potentials before our lesson with Glenn. We were going to bring Bro Bates, but when we called he forgot. We needed him there so we waited for him. We went to Glenn. This is the guy we met last week. It was a bash. Bro Bates just threw down. It was really fun, but I know why we aren't supposed to get in those situations. Glenn and his friend aren't going to change.

Thursday
Well it wasn't too exciting. We had ZTM so it took up most of the day. We worked on the area book for a little bit in the morning  and then drove to Sherwood Park. ZTM was pretty good. It was great to see some missionaries that I haven't been around for a little while. Right after ZTM we had to leave to get back in time for supper. We had supper at Sis Brockhurst. She had her friend over. She knows all about our church. She said half her friends are Mormon, so she is half Mormon. After supper we went to the Pillings with Bro Fisher. We then drove home.

Friday
Well we had weekly planning then lunch. After lunch we went for Mormon.org time. We then went and helped out at Busy bee. We tried by some potentials and tracted. We had supper at Fishers and then invited the Crumps to come over. It was good, because we don't know the Crumps very well. We then left there and hurried and changed to go help the Pillings. We were going to go help them with their goats, but instead we helped them put in posts for a new fence. It was still good.

Saturday
Well we went to Veg. We went and visited with Sister Gillespie and Sister Yost. We met with Bill and tried by a lot of other people. Not much really happened. Chuck and Mary took us out for supper at Vito's. It was good. I had the baked seafood fettuccini. It was alright, the seafood was imitation crab. Don't have seafood in the country. It was great. We went back and visited for a little bit and then left.

Sunday
We had branch council. We then had Church. It was really good. For Mother's Day they gave all the mom's little flowers. After church we ran home for a minute and then went to Lu's. Well I had lunch with Lu, Bob and Sis Beck while Elder Garver was skypeing. Then I got to Skype and you know about that. We then waited for supper. While we were waiting we played Ticket to Ride. It is a pretty fun game. We then had supper and shared a message. By then we need to leave for the night.

Monday
Well P-day was a lot of fun. We did what we needed to and then we went out to the Kastendiecks acreage. We had fun out there. We played Bochi and I took some cool pictures. We just hung out, out there. We then came back and went to supper at Tiedeman's. It was fun. Crazy trying to find it. We then came back to Tofield and then went and visited with Becky. That was about the rest of the day.

Well got to go. Love you all

Tofield Chapter 4

Wow this week was crazy. So much happened. I'm honestly pretty tired. We are working hard out here. I love it.

Tuesday
Well we started by cleaning the whole Veg apartment. We were moving out, so we had to take everything that was left, out and put it in the trailer, then clean everything. We went out with Elder and Sister Poulin to the Bates for lunch. They used to live in Veg. We then went back and finished cleaning. We got done at about 3:30. We stopped by some people. We picked up supper from Sis Skeem and went to Chuck and Mary's to eat it since we no longer had an apartment. We continued to stop by some people.

Wednesday
Well we went and helped out at the Veg Library and then did Mormon.org time. We had lunch at Subway and then went to see Sis Yost. We went up to see Sis Gillispie in dialysis after that. We continued to try by people until supper. Since we had been keeping score at the bowling alley for the Special Olympics, we were invited to a dinner. It was great. I was fine with just having water, but "grandma" deal kept having them bring coke for us. We had a lesson with the Thompson that didn't really get anywhere. We then drove home.

Thursday
We had district meeting and lunch at Kelly's. We then went on exchanges. Elder Mugerian and I were going to be in Tofield. I was pretty nervous. I knew how to get around in the area, but really didn't know the area very well. It went well though. We went and helped out at Busy Bee. We were able to have some good conversations with some people there. We might be able to help this one lady with some service. We had to send in Klick and then we tried by Potentials. We had supper at McDaniel's. We tried by a former out there. He actually answered the door which was a success. He was busy, but he answered.

Friday
Well we had our interview and then had lunch. We drove and exchanged back then drove back. We had Weekly Planning and stopped by potentials. We had supper at Hillyer's. It was fun. Bro Hillyer's parents came too. They are from Southern Alberta. We were going to go to the Pillings but they cancelled during supper. We ended up just stopping by potentials.

Saturday
We travelled to Veg and tried Maggie. She wasn't home. We tried some other people and nothing. We ate lunch at Subway. We had a lesson with Roy and Crystal with Bro Cahoon. That was a good lesson. We were able to talk about the issues with marriage and that they can find and feel the answer as they read the Book of Mormon. It went really well. We found out more about the issue and it totally makes more sense. We went and met with Shirley, had a good lesson introducing her to the Book of Mormon. We then went to Chuck and Mary's. They gave us supper and we chatted for a while. We then drove home.

Sunday
We had church. We went in and helped teach part of Relief Society. We were supposed to talk about ways for members to share the gospel. We had prepared a little bit, but didn't really know what Sis Brockhurst wanted. She gave us a copy of the handout before church. She was going to give us about 15-20 mins. We were really only going to take about 10-15, but we made it a good quality 20 min. The Spirit really guided that. We went home and had our lunch hour. We then tried by Gary, busy of course. We went to try the Hindi house and they were just leaving, but said to come back at 6. We stopped by Bill and set up a time for later. Then we tracted a bit. We had supper at the Kastendiecks. Their youngest just turned 12. It was a lot of fun. We then met with the Hindi people. Kishar is the only consistent person we talk to. We had a good lesson going over the first lesson. We then drove out to set up something with McGale's and Dan. We ended the night by going and talking with Murray.

Monday
For a P-day it was a lot of work, but it was sooo much fun. We woke up and went to the church to play basketball with the Kastendiecks. Bro Kastendieck then took us out to their acreage. We had some fun out there and helped out with some of the projects. It is great out there. We were out there until 2:30. We then came back and showered and took a nap. We woke up and went shopping. We drove to the Huderites (?) to buy some eggs. They sell them for $2/dozen. We then drove back and had dinner. We stopped by some people, but nothing really happened. We were able to meet with the Roe's. It was a good visit. Not much else happened.

I'm still recovering from yesterday, but I'm doing great. Hope everything is going well at home.
Love you,
Elder O'Neill
